Decent Bite Today, Saturdays Trip Cancelled...Not Enough Interest

Decent bite today but very spread-out and sporadic. Covered a lot of ground but just couldn't get the bite going on the productive drops we have been fishing the past two weeks. Made a 9th inning move to some deeper water and it was the right choice. The fish turned on for one single 1/4 mile drift and all rods doubled-over. Several nice resident fish and a couple of real brutes who were very tough to move off the bottom. Overall a great day...perfect weather, some good fishing and lots of good laughs. Tomorrow is cancelled due to lack of interest (mind boggling to me, on a Saturday no less)...but I am hoping to get out next weekend. Sat, July 28th has 3 spots open and perhaps we will sail Sunday July 30th if we have enough interest and the right weather of course. Nautical week ahead with a big low pressure center coming up the coast tomorrow night. I will be posting up the next trips midweek....
