Some Good News....Finally

After a very long winter and non-existent spring, I am VERY glad to report that our engine issues have been resolved and it looks like we are going fishing very soon. Thank you ace mechanic and friend James Brooks for helping me weed out the gremlins in that port engine....lots of cursing, coffee and a few bruised knuckles today but we got it done and purring like a kitten. Next week "Diver Dave" will be cleaning the hull and slapping on fresh zincs. After that, a quick shakedown cruise to verify everything is good and then we can start to run some trips. I am planning to run most of my trips "open boat" this season but more about that next week. Keeping focused on getting off the dock...more next week
