Trips This Week & Yesterdays Report

Had the John Sherman gang out yesterday for some Fluke & Seabass and despite a late start, the fishing was very good. Largest fish was close to 10 and taken on a whole squid. The dogs were strangely absent but I certainly wasn't complaining. Water temps on my gauge ranged from 68 - 72 depending on the location and that is warm but still somewhat normal compared to years past...what is keeping all these dogs on the East Grounds and Fairway area is a mystery to me. Usually, an east wind will push them onto the grounds and they usually stick around a week or two and leave, not this year - the east side of the island, mainly the East Grounds, is covered and they seem to have settled in with no intention to leave soon. Very frustrating...

Trips this week....Thursday 7/28 I am planning to do some Codfishing and have (3) guys down on the calender and two spots still open. I am also planning a trip for Sunday 7/31 and I have (3) guys down for that one as well with two spots open.
