A Change In Plans...

Was hoping to make my first run to the ledge this past Saturday, but it wasn't meant to be due to lack of interest. Need a minimum of four to make this trip so I will be watching the weather and hope to pull a crew together perhaps by the end of the week. As of this entry, I will be watching Friday June 10th - Sunday June 12th very closely. Tide-wise, Sunday would be the best of the weekend and if mother nature cooperates that will be my pick of the week. Despite our cancellation of Saturday's trip, Bill and I did take a bus-mans holiday and we decided to poke around along the south shore fluke grounds.....35 shorts (fluke), 2 blues, and 20+ sea bass. All fish were released to be caught at a future date include one huge biscuit that went nearly 6 lbs!!! It was wind against tide all day so the drift was slow...but we always have fun and enjoy being out on the water. Lets keep our fingers crossed for the upcoming weekend....
