Sea Bass & Scup Crush For The Jon Niven Group

Had my friend Jon Niven and his fantastic group onboard today for some real good Scup and Sea Bass fishing. Not only can these guys (and gals) jam on stage and put on a great concert...they also know how to put fish in box! All bait right on the bottom with a small (1/0) single hook 18" up off the sinker. It was lock and load for most of the day minus two drops we investigated hoping for some Cod. Marked them...but they didn't want to chew. Some of the biggest Scup I've ever seen today and they all hung themselves very nicely with almost no effort. Nicest day I've seen out on the water in the last two years and look forward to fishing with Jon and his friends again in the future.
