

Almost Ready...
We are "this close" to throwing the lines. One more gallon of Durabak paint for the deck, some minor troubleshooting of that port engine and we should be good to go. Replaced two 8D batteries this week ($800) and relocated the inverter. I have stocked up on sinkers, teasers, jigs, rigs and added a few more of my hand picked 7.5' Tsunami Rods / Daiwa High Speed Saltist reel combo's that everyone loves for Cod. Getting It Done...
Bob had a good week on the boat and for the most part, were just about 70% done. Need a couple of new 8D batteries so we can crank those smoky Perkins over and make sure the new injection pump is working properly. It will be nice to do a trip without having to change oil every time on that portside engine. So at this point, my goal is to start our first trips over Memorial Day Weekend. I need to run one shakedown trip prior, that will be this upcoming weekend hopefully. F


Rain, Rain Go Away...
Got in a few hours yesterday, but we need at least 3-4 days straight without any rain. Injection pump is in but we still have to reconnect everything, bleed lines and dial things in. I guess if we have to do it in the rain, we will. But we can't do any glass work or paint....not wasting $250 worth of paint. The forecast for the upcoming week is more rain but who knows, maybe they will be wrong like they always are when they forecast the sea state. Guess since we can't get
