Merry Christmas....
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and may all of God's blessings reign down on you and your families. So the fishing is mediocre at best right now and I am hoping to run a trip next weekend (Jan. 4th - 6th) if Bob and I can get our electrical problem sorted out by then. Looks like my brand new alternator on the starboard side took a shit...or the regulator did...have to figure this one out before throwing the lines. So I will report back midweek including the fish report upd
Mixed Bag Today...
Today the bite just never materialized for Cod, but we did catch TONS of Scup, Sea Bass and Cunners...along with some Mackerel and Ling. Lots of shorts with regards to Sea Bass and didn't get anything worth bragging over...not one Knothead. Had little to no drift today and the tide was slack most of the day so I am sure that didn't help. All in all a C- day but the guys did have fun and went home with a couple bags of fillets each. This Sunday Is Sold Out...And The Weather Looks Great...Finally
Looks like we are finally going to get a break this Sunday....got a full crew of six and what looks to be a fantastic forecast...loading the boat up tomorrow with food, ice and fresh bait. I will have the honest report up on Sunday night....I know today sucked because I got first hand reports from some of my headboat friends who fished the ledge...and others never even post

The forecast looks great as of this posting and so do the tides. Hope to throw the lines around 6:30 AM and return around 3:30 PM. The tide change will be around 8:30 AM (slack) and we should have some good ebbing tide from 10:30 AM till around 2:00 PM. May not be a slaughter but we should do real well...I have a pretty solid game pla
The Haddock Are Here...And More About This Wacky Season And Hopefully Some Trips...
This is definitely one of the most interesting seasons I can remember in a very long time. Some really great Codfishing in July and August...then a couple great trips catching Pollack (haven't seen this in years) and now great schools of Haddock showing-up on the grounds...something we have never seen this far south of the Cape...not in my lifetime anyways. Yes I have seen an occasional Haddock caught here and there over the years but nothing like this. I started hearing t
