Monday is a go, no trip tomorrow...
We have one spot open for Monday, looks like it might be a little overcast but that won't stop us from catching some Cod. Call, text or email if you want to jump aboard. Capt.

Watching For Saturday, Sunday & Monday...FV Codzilla Officially Up For Sale...
Looks like we are going to have some easterly winds coming in late tomorrow to blow this heat wave out of town...thank God. When the front passes it will bring with it the usual rain and wind we have become accustomed too this summer. Friday is definitely out but I don't want to put the breaks on Saturday, Sept 1st just yet. If that front passes quickly enough we might have decent enough weather for a trip on Saturday. The tides will be better for Sat & Sun, with slack wa
No Trip Wed...Too Bad, Great Weather and Great Fishing!!!
Really perplexed tonight...received an email from a friend tonight who sent me real good Intel and pics to back it. Caught more Cod (and huge, avg 20 lbs +) than any other trip in years...would have made the run tomorrow but I have ZERO, NADA interest....NOTHING!!! Can't understand this...guys line the rails on the party boats catching 3 Seabass and a couple Fluke, but nobody will pay a few dollars more to have a full day Cod trip? Shaking my head... Anyway, so instead of

No Trip Tomorrow....Have 2 For Wed, Aug 29th, Need 2 More To Throw Lines...
No trip tomorrow but I do have interest for this Wednesday, August 29th. If I can get 2 more anglers its a go. $150pp...bait, ice, tackle and fresh breakfast sandwiches & coffee will be served upon boarding from our new galley. Will throw lines at 6 AM and come back when we have some fish (usually back to port by 5 PM). Putting a game plan together as I write this...call, text or email me. Below is a pic from last Saturday's trip...what a fish! Capt.

Clobbered Some Nice Cod Today...Not Enough Interest For Sunday? Next Trip Planned For Tuesday 8/28.
After the trip we had today, its hard to believe I only had one person interested in our trip for tomorrow....perfect weather, smooth seas and the Cod bite is on...don't get it. That's OK....I will sleep in and have plenty of good laughs watching Fake News "Meet The Press"in the AM....but truthfully speaking, I would much rather be fishing for Cod...especially after today. Started the day by the Block hoping to save some fuel and allow the guys more time to fish but it was n

Saturday is a go, short two but I can't stay tied to the dock with perfect tides and weather...I
Very disappointed with the turn-out for this weekend....crickets literally!!! We have perfect weather, full moon tides and nobody wants to fish??? But the sheep will fill the rails on all the local head-boats with zero effort and I could go on for hours. Bob and I work our asses off to offer you folks the best trips in the business...full breakfast, all bait, ice and tackle included....and top shelf fish cleaning at the end of the day. We even fish OT if the bite is off..
Friday & Weekend Update....
Got the new starter installed, too bad it was a CW rotation. Pulled it back out today and will try to match the solenoid off of it with the old one which is proper rotation, CCW. Its always something....anyway, if I can get this back into the boat tomorrow and turn the engines over, Friday will be a go. Have room for 2 more if we sail Friday. Worse case scenario we can't get off the dock on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be wide open with plenty of room. Weather looks

New Starter On Board...And A New Grill!!! Hoping For Trips This Friday 8/24 And Saturday or Sunday,
I feel happy to report that Bob and I will have the new starter installed tomorrow and we are re-wiring our shore power which is long overdue. Those GFI outlets suck and we are going back to the way things were when we had zero problems. Also....just purchased a killer commercial, Stainless Steel grill for Bob to do his cooking on...its really something and we should have a fully functionally galley by the next trip. With our big inverter, we now to have the ability to ser

Couldn't Get Off The Dock Today...Weekend Weather Looks Iffy...
My sincerest apologies to the great group that came-up today from NY to swing some jigs. Despite the best of intentions, my starboard engine just wouldn't turn. The starter is shot and I have a spare going in tomorrow. Have some wiring issues that also need to be resolved before our next outing. This is the first trip I ever had to cancel at dock due to mechanical failure and I felt real bad for the guys that drove all that way...they will each have a free future trip com
Thursday Is A Go...Still Have 2 Spots Open. Weekend Looks Questionable...
Tomorrow is a go and there is still room for 2...call in sick and meet us at the dock at 6 AM. I will be up till 10:30 tonight or call me at 5 AM if you want to jump on at the last minute. The forecast look gorgeous for tomorrow and I am hoping to find some nice Cod for us to work on. The weekend looks questionable...might be able to get enough for Saturday, we shall see...will post-up when I get to my chair tomorrow night. Capt.
